Saturday mornings at the Delray GreenMarket are truly special. Located on the large front lawn of the Cornell Art Museum at Old School Square, this outdoor farmer’s market has been around since 1996, thanks to the Community Redevelopment Agency.
Walking around the market, you’ll see more than 50 vendors selling a wide variety of goodies sourced from Palm Beach County. There’s everything from freshly picked citrus and farm eggs to raw milk and fancy butter. If you’re into healthy eating, they’ve got you covered with Florida beef, poultry, pork, and lamb raised without antibiotics or hormones.
But the GreenMarket is more than just food—it’s an experience. You’ll find delicious artisanal baked goods, loads of gluten-free, vegan, and sugar-free treats, and lots of beautiful flowers and plants among the busy stalls. And to top it off, there’s live music playing, making the atmosphere even more lively and enjoyable.
In short, the Delray GreenMarket isn’t just a place to shop—it’s a community event that celebrates sustainability and the tasty flavors of Florida’s harvest season.
